The Detroit Public Schools Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD), is recently celebrating a partnership with Evrod Cassimy, morning anchor on WDIV/ClickOnDetroit.com, on the release of his new single, “Good Enough,” according to a press release.

The sweet-sounding collaboration features Evrod on the CD cover with his Good Enough mask, which 100% of sale proceeds will be donated to the DPS Foundation.

“We appreciate our DPS honorary alumni, Evrod Cassimy, giving back to the students and families through his music
and the fundraiser. Music can be healing, and we know our families and students need positive vibes right now”, said
District spokesperson, Chrystal Wilson in the release.

Evrod’s says his deep connection to education stems from his parents.

“Both of my parents are retired educators, so education has always been very important to me. I’m thankful for the front-line workers within DPSCD who have worked tirelessly to provide for students during the pandemic. I wrote this song to inspire others to keep fighting through all the challenges this past year has brought us. The mask serves as a reminder to never give up because we’re all Good Enough.”
President and CEO Pamela Moore, said “We hope that our DSPCD students, families, educators, Detroiters and the world will have listening parties to be inspired by this timely, heartfelt, feel-good song.”

The mask worn by Evrod on the CD cover is available for sale ($18) at https://evrodcassimy.com.

Evrod can be seen every morning on WDIV/Local 4 beginning at 4:30 am.
